I just can’t resist the allure of a stylish how-to book. In her books “Cupcakes and Cashmere: A Guide for Defining Your Style, Reinventing Your Space, and Entertaining with Ease” and “Cupcakes and Cashmere at Home,” popular lifestyle blogger Emily Schuman offers unique tips for styling your wardrobe and home with an emphasis on DIY projects.

The books are small in scale but packed full of elegant decorative solutions. High style meets old-fashioned hands-on, do-it-yourself know-how. “Cupcakes and Cashmere” is organized by season; the fall section includes “Tips on Tights” and “A Haunting Halloween,” in which Schuman provides suggestions for finding the perfect pair of autumn legwear and hosting a pleasantly ghoulish party with themed cupcakes and inspiring costumes. If you’re like me, and love browsing a book for elevated style ideas but prefer simple suggestions, give these a try.

Usually, this just means Jim, one of our partners, uploaded the article. There's an off chance it could be an intern, though, so be nice.
