A new year means taking on new challenges and AADL is here to help with Unusual Stuff to borrow. This collection includes tools of all types.

New additions to the Art Tools Collection can assist you with your creative endeavors. Have you ever wanted to learn digital painting, illustration or photo editing? Now you can with the lending collection of Wacom digitizer tablets. Want to paint a mural on your wall? An Artograph enlarging projector can help with that.

If crafting is your thing, you can borrow a sewing machine. Or learn to spin yarn with AADL’s lending collection of spinning wheels, yarn swifts and winders. Make your next knitting or crochet project that much more personal by using handspun yarn made by you. The only way you could make it more personal is if you sheared the sheep yourself (sorry, AADL won’t be lending livestock anytime soon).

You can browse the selections by clicking on the Catalog tab and then navigating to Unusual Stuff. Or ask about it the next time you stop by the library. Make 2015 a year of new creative challenges.

Usually, this just means Jim, one of our partners, uploaded the article. There's an off chance it could be an intern, though, so be nice.
